My name's Sarah, I'm the owner of Beautyologist Academy and lead educator. I have been in the industry for 8 years and i have been teaching for 4. I have taught level 3 Nail Technology for a private college for a number of years before having a small break. I then took the plunge into getting my accreditation. I absolutely love teaching and it is something that I am hugely passionate about. I took my level 4 AET and level 3 Assessors qualification as I wanted to up the education game. When I was training to be a nail technician I became allergic to HEMA, this was a long time ago now and the industry has improved in many ways, back then, allergic reactions within the nail industry wasn't spoken about, HEMA free products were hard to come by, this is what drove me to become an educator. 

Further down the line, I realised that many people had poor experiences with educational settings, whether this was in school, college or private education, upon research this was a lot to do with not tailoring courses to individual learning styles or understanding those with obstacles to learning. I have ensured that my courses are neurodivergent friendly and inclusive. All of my courses will be tailored to you! After you book a course with me, you will receive direct contact from myself, where we will introduce ourselves and tactically discuss learning styles and gain an understanding of what you already know - to ensure that you are gaining the best out of your education. 

All of this is where Beautyologist Academy was born. Not everyone deals with face to face well, or traditional classroom based settings so i have strived to create an online learning environment that is still guided just like it would be in the classroom! Im not just throwing a manual at you and leaving you to self study. You will join a live zoom class that will guide you through everything you will need to know! You will also be added to google classroom that will contain all of your materials, plus activities that you will complete during class, homework activities plus a written assignment. I will guide you through your first treatment this will be performed live and privately. You will then go away and practice practice practice and when you are ready and confident, you will then have your practical assessment. Once you have passed you will then have your shiny new certificate! BUT the support doesn't end there! I'll help and follow you in your journey, i'll be here for any questions or support you may need until you no longer need me!
